Influence of allergic disorders on physical development

Abstract The aim of the paper was to asses the relationship between socioeconomic status, the prevalence of allergy and physical development. The data were obtained from 478 female students and 195 male students aged 19-24. The prevalence of allergy in the group surveyed was 14.6% (14.6% in women and 14.4% in men). Allergic diseases were more frequent in students of high socioeconomic status. The results of the analysis of variance did not show any significant differences in anthropometric characteristics between students with and without allergies. Adoption is connected with a number of traumatic experiences, of which the experience of being abandoned by biological parents is of major significance. The fact of being abandoned usually involves a stay at a hospital and later on in various forms of family or institutionalized foster care, until the child is finally placed in an adoptive family. Objetivos: investigar la cronología y la secuencia de erupción de la dentición temporal y su relación con el peso y la talla en un grupo de niños y niñas de entre 0 y 3 años tanto al nacer como en la exploración. Analizar si existen diferencias significativas en la edad de erupción entre dientes contra laterales y entre dientes antagonistas para ambos sexos.
